Iris Elizabeth Rae

The passing of Iris Elizabeth (Boone) Rae of Dumfries NB occurred on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton NB. Iris was born in Centreville NB on Dec 16 1925 to the late Elwood Boone and Jennie Lipsett. Survived by a daughter Kim Rae-Niles (Don) Woodstock NB, granddaughter Jennie Niles, a daughter Karen Rae (Charles Martin) Fredericton NB ,granddaughter, Mariah Cloutier, one sister Dorothy Hall, Brunswick Me. and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents; Iris was predeceased by her husband William, and her sisters Marion Harrison and Helen Wood.

Iris and husband Bill ran the canteen at Davidson Lake for 40 summers and the Kim Karen camp ground for 24 summers.

Resting at St. Clements Anglican Church at Dumfries NB where friends may call on Sunday, January 17 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 18 at 11:00 am from St. Clements Anglican Church with Rev. Neville Cheesman and The Ven. Walter Williams Officiating. Interment will be at a later date in St. Clements Cemetery.
